Hey there, I’m Ryan Bloomquist. I’m an actor/writer based out of New York City.

Perhaps you have seen Ryan die on a barricade, or maybe you have watched his compilation video of various salegirls trying to hawk their wares to Elle Woods…. either way, I’m glad you’re here!

Ryan is a native of Branford, CT where he grew up coercing his classmates into attending his numerous playground musicals during recess. You can only imagine how popular he was! (It gets better?) He moved to New York to study Musical Theatre at NYU and has been pounding the pavement ever since.

He’s performed in regional theaters all over the country in shows such as Les Miserables, Show Boat, The Robber Bridegroom, It Should Have Been You, and All Shook Up. Most recently, he appeared at The Ivoryton Playhouse in The Fantasticks and An Ivoryton Playhouse Christmas Hour. Recent NY credits include The Imbible and a one night concert of Bombshell on Broadway from the NBC show "Smash” along with appearances at concert venues all over the city including 54 Below, Joe’s Pub, and Don’t Tell Mama.

Ryan also recently published his first book with Harper Collins, Riverdish: the Unauthorized Case Files of Riverdale; a companion piece to his successful recap podcast Riverdish.
